Spring Vasey

Associate Extension Agent, 4-H Youth Development

Spring grew up in southern Delaware and comes from a family farming background.  She was heavily involved in 4-H, including project areas in swine, dairy, sewing, sheep, entomology, and foods & nutrition. She went on to receive her B.S. in Dairy Science from Virginia Tech. Since then, Spring has worked for Penn State’s 4-H Extension, where she rebuilt their animal science program and created a summer library program for all youth in Franklin County, PA. In her current role as an Associate Extension Agent, her focus is to serve and plan educational programs for the youth in Frederick County, Virginia.
