Dyllan Chapins
Associate Extension Agent, 4-H Youth Development
Education and Degrees:
- 2014 - BS, Animal and Poultry Sciences, Virginia Tech
- 2016 - MNR, Natural Resources, Virginia Tech
Work Experience:
Dyllan grew up in Shenandoah County, where she began participating in 4-H at age 11. In 2010, she was inducted into the Virginia 4-H All-Stars, the highest honor a 4-H member can achieve. Her passion for 4-H and love of the Shenandoah Valley have led her to the 4-H Agent position in Frederick County.
Prior to joining Virginia Cooperative Extension, Dyllan work experience includes:
- Adjunct Professor at Germanna Community College
- Shenandoah County 4-H Program Assistant
- Visitor Services Technician at the New Market Battlefield
- Biological Science Technician at Shenandoah National Park.
